Jake Rye is a professional producer, mixer, and songwriter with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. His approach—grounded in both high-level artistry and genuine care for the people he works with—has kept him in demand for more than two decades. Known for being both a top level service provider and a mentor in the studio, Jake has helped hundreds of independent and label-level artists bring their music to life and achieve meaningful success.

The records he’s worked on have collectively surpassed 500,000,000 streams, charted on the Billboard Top 200 as high as #9, and reached #1 at radio in multiple countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, and Australia. His body of work includes gold-certified projects as both a producer and mixer, along with co-written songs placed in major TV, film, and advertising campaigns for brands and networks such as American Airlines, ASICS, MTV, HBO Max, Netflix, Disney, CBS, NBC, and ESPN.

Jake’s journey began simply—playing bass for fun as a kid—but quickly grew into a lifelong career in music. From touring as a member of Sanctus Real to producing and mixing Billboard-charting, award-nominated, and award-winning records, he has worked across nearly every corner of the industry since 2005, with time spent in both Michigan and Nashville.

In 2013, while balancing life between touring and studio work, Jake founded Social Recording Company, a studio brand built to reflect the culture and creative environment he wanted to foster. Today, Social Recording Company continues to serve both the wider music industry and its local creative community as Jake’s home base.

Alongside his studio work, Jake is also active as an artist in his solo project Ghost Kingdoms, and as a member of LO CLOUD, a band he formed with Sanctus Real original lead singer Matt Hammitt and former Kutless guitarist and songwriter Nick DePartee.
